Avoiderdragon: The Dead Island series is confusing in terms of whether it should be liked or hated. The first game was actually pretty good despite its faults, and Dead Island Riptide was much of the same in a different setting. While were still waiting for the release of Dead Island 2, it seems like Deep Silver thought of releasing yet another game to fill the gap and get more audiences into the series. What came out of it is questionable though.

Review: Escape Dead Island Zombie Filled Comic-Noir Style Adventure [XLC Gaming Network]

Added: 22.11.2014 11:11 | 8 views | 0 comments

XLC Gaming Network writes:- As we await the release of Dead Island 2, Deep Silver has decided to experiment with a Comic style spin off called Escape Dead Island. This title is not just a spin off though, it also fills in a few gaps of how the outbreak in Bonai began. Released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 is it worth taking a trip through this island painting the beach red? I slap on the old factor 50 and rock some kick ass shades and take a trip to Narapela.

ZTGD | Escape Dead Island (PS3) Review

Added: 18.11.2014 15:15 | 6 views | 0 comments

Justin Celani writes: Dead Island appeared to take the world by storm; much like a zombie virus does in all its fictional glory. When Deep Silver published the first trailer that tugged on players hearts everywhere, people took notice. The final product was anything but emotional, and instead was a fun, 4 player first person co-op zombie game with blood, guts and tons of loot. Fast forward to today, and we have a spin off called Escape Dead Island launching on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Is it more of the same game play we have come to love, or simply a dead man walking?

Escape Dead Island review: in shambles - Polygon

Added: 18.11.2014 10:12 | 16 views | 0 comments

Polygon: "Escape Dead Island is a difficult game to explain. It's part of the same universe as zombie-infested open-world adventures Dead Island, expansion Riptide and the forthcoming Dead Island 2, but it's presented with a different perspective (third-person, not first) and with few of its predecessors' trademark facets, like loads of loot, handmade weapons and constant stat improvements. Escape Dead Island is also difficult to explain in that I'm not certain the written word has the capability of communicating what a ghoulish, infuriating, dull, taxing, miserable amount of excrement Deep Silver has managed to squeeze onto a single unsuspecting disc."
